Rod and Standoff Insulators

  • Typically selected for use on HF and Wire Antenna.
  • Insulating element is comprised of Electrical-Grade Porcelain for VLF, LF, and MF ranges.
  • For HF applications insulating element is either Alumina or Steatite.
  • The AOA series shown above are for use in tension. Compressive spreader bars are also available.

  2. Insulator Type AOA-1C comes complete with aluminum end fittings, rainshield and voltage controls.
  3. Maximum recommended working loads are based on a minimum factor of safety of 3 : 1.
