Medium Intensity Lighting
Used on structures 500’ above ground level (AGL) or less.   Structures 350’ or less require one medium intensity flashing beacon.   Structures over 350’ but less than 500’ require three medium intensity flashing beacons.
White or dual-mode medium intensity lights eliminates need to paint structure.

High Intensity Lighting
Used on structures over 500’ above ground level (AGL).   Light intensity is 270,000 candelas (ECD) during daylight hours, 20,000 candelas (ECD) during twilight hours and 2,000 candelas (ECD) at night.
Flash uses a patented louver design, which directs the light where it is needed for aviation safety and away from the community below.

Monitoring Systems
The FAA requires that light failures or "alarms" be reported to the FAA within 30 minutes of learning of the failure, repairs must be made within 15 days and logs must be kept of all events.
The Eagle Monitoring System interfaces with all lighting systems, regardless of their type.

Regulation Compliance
Flash Technology high intensity, medium intensity, catenary and airport runway products comply with government standards, as applicable.
Flash Technology lighting products are the first choice of most businesses because they consistently provide lighting that operates within or exceeds regulatory guidelines, and run maintenance-free for long periods.
